Position Overview

Under the provision of Shared Health - Emergency Response Services, the Adult Interfacility Transport Team will provide superior quality transport services for patients requiring advanced life support or critical care management to definitive care by way of air ambulance and/or ground transportation. As a member of the Adult Interfacility Transport Team in collaboration with medical control, the Transport Nurse Clinician N3 (TNC) and Advanced Practice Respiratory Therapists (APRTs) are responsible for triaging, providing guidance to the referring facility, determining safest method of transportation, and delivering critical care support until patient care is relinquished to the accepting facility for critical care transport requests.
