Please note this is a temporary role: 9 months.About the roleThe Transportation Analyst will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the movement of goods for truckload (TL), bulk liquid, and drayage, ensuring timely delivery while optimizing costs and efficiency.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and internal teams.Key responsibilitiesInterpret information related to each shipment and gather additional information as needed.Determine optimal equipment for each shipment in relation to cost minimization and service requirements.Negotiate spot prices with service providers.Monitor daily each shipment in relation to required pick‐up and delivery date/time.Identify and resolve exceptions as they arise.Proactively communicate information to other departments and customers as needed.Support Transportation Team administrative functions as needed.Analyze weekly/monthly metrics r...
