Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering, technical, and professional services serving the US government, allies and critical infrastructure sectors, is seeking a Transportation Manager to support unique US Navy program based on the island of Diego Garcia.

Transportation Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the planning, execution, scheduling, and routing of all freight shipments via land, sea, and air transportation resources.

• Manage the Transportation, Material Handling Equipment (MHE), Movement Control, Arrival/Departure Airfield Control Group, Container Management, and Motor Pool Operations
• Work closely with project and construction management staff to develop plans, policies, and procedures for project transportation support
• Ensure transportation sections comply with contract requirements
• Facilitate effective communications throughout transportation organization
