As a Truck Driver - CDL Class A, you will operate a tractor trailer that transports cargo daily to and from local customer locations. You will prepare, receive and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service. You will load, secure and unload cargo, and maintain a log of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations.
Responsibilities:
Prepares daily delivery schedule. Selects and loads materials, verifying loads for accuracy, on the truck for delivery. Delivers materials at locations designated by customer. Assists with unloading and obtains customer’s signature for proof of delivery. Maintains contact with dispatcher to receive instructions about scheduled delivery or pick up.
