Responsibilities
Writing complex machine code and determining machining methods, work sequence, and tooling selection.
Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
Analyzing manufacturing processes to determine root causes and implementing corrective actions for continuous improvement.
Setting up and programming machines for production parts, performing machine adjustments, and verifying dimensions against drawings and requirements.
Maintaining detailed machine records, including tooling requirements and set‐up procedures.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting machine issues as needed.
Estimating set‐up and machining times, tooling costs, and related costs.
Entering commands or manually adjusting machine controls to correct malfunctions.
Recommending continuous improvement ideas.
