Externship Experience at Bathurst Animal Hospital

An externship experience at an NVA hospital will give students the unique opportunity to understand the day-to-day operations of the practice, and to gain valuable hands‑on clinical experience. Although every NVA hospital is unique, we all share a supportive environment, a commitment to excellent medicine, and exceptional service to animals and their owners.

Bathurst Animal Hospital is a small animal general practice that provides high‑quality, compassionate care to cats, dogs, and exotic pets. The facility features a well‑equipped in‑house lab, surgical suite, dental suite, and an ultrasound suite that will be ready soon. The team consists of 4 DVMS, 4 RVTS, and a supportive care staff. We enjoy collaborating on cases, learning, and growing together.
