About the Practice

We are a busy small animal GP practice with 5 DVMs, 2 FT RVTs and 2 FT VTs. We foster an environment that is supportive and enjoyable to work at and we have had many coop placement students.

VT Practicum Program

NVA Canada’s VT Practicum Program offers final‑year veterinary technician students the chance to gain real‑world experience in a dynamic environment. Working alongside experienced veterinarians and RVTs, students will develop clinical skills in patient care, laboratory procedures, anesthesia, surgical assistance, radiology and more. They will also enhance their communication abilities with medical teams and clients, preparing them for a successful career as an RVT. Practicums range from two to eight weeks, fitting your schedule and career goals.
