What You’ll Do:

Lead a team of engineers through the delivery of steel connection design projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes (AISC, CISC, CSA) and optimizing for constructability, cost, and quality. Manage and mentor a team of engineers, supporting their development, performance, and resource allocation across multiple projects. Drive the adoption of engineering tools and standardization of processes, including QA/QC and workflow improvements between engineering and detailing. Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders (detailers, fabricators, EORs) to resolve design challenges and ensure alignment between design intent and fabrication. Oversee project execution, including schedules, budgets, RFIs, and revisions, while supporting project management efforts. Maintain awareness of industry standards and market requirements, particularly across Canadian and U.S. projects. Requirements:
