The Ward Clerk performs a variety of reception and clerical duties required for the efficient operation of the unit. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: data entry, including database entry; ordering and maintaining supplies; required transport functions; answering phones. Hours of Work
10.5 hour shifts; or 1900–0700. Your Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required. Graduate from a recognized Office Administration Program preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer programs/technology (testing may be conducted on shortlisted candidates). Knowledge of SAP an asset. Knowledge of medical terminology an asset. Knowledge of Meditech preferred. Keyboarding skills minimum of 40 wpm required, 60 wpm is preferred (testing may be conducted on shortlisted candidates).
