Water Resources Engineer / Modeler

EXP’s Water Resources Group is currently seeking a Hydraulic Modeler to support surface water projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The successful candidate will join a growing team of modelers who support land/commercial development, transit drainage, I&I studies, and floodplain mapping clients. The ideal candidate will have experience with similar project work in the GTA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and application of hydrologic and hydraulic models (e.g., HEC‑RAS, HEC‑HMS, SWMM, MIKE, InfoWorks).
• Conduct floodplain mapping, risk assessments, and mitigation planning.
• Analyze surface water systems including rivers, streams, and urban drainage networks.
• Interpret and present modeling results to stakeholders, clients, and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations.
