About xScale

During 2019, Equinix took a significant step in its plan to support the rapid growth of hyperscale customers with the establishment of a joint venture to own, run, and develop xScale data centers in Europe. This milestone set the foundation for funding and expanding xScale globally. In 2024, we expanded into the USA, marking the 6th and one of the largest xScale joint ventures to date. Today, xScale represents one of the fastest‑growing and most strategically important areas of Equinix. This role is part of our global xScale Controllership team, supporting the transactions from an accounting perspective with high visibility and interaction with several key teams including Tax, Treasury, FTSE, Corporate Development and Capital Markets.
